Hey guys, Today's blog post is about my experience with permanent hair extensions and
how I have now found the best hair method, extensions and extension consultant.
I have wore extensions for about 7 years for 6 of those I wore clip in extensions and off until I finally had enough of spending every morning clipping them in I started searching for different types of permanent ways to have them.
There are so many different methods and places to go I decided to go to a well known place in London seeing Instagram posts including celebs going to this salon I convinced myself that trecking down to London spending a ridiculous amount of money was a good idea... it was not! At the time of having them done I wasn't really talked through much of it and when it came to the end I wasn't all impressed but it still felt better than just having my own hair so I left slightly happy a couple of months later I was going through Instagram and remembered I followed a few hair extension accounts and there was always one that stood out which was @Loubaldwin_hair her work always look amazing she shows more than just the finished look so you no more what your getting into.
I Decided to reach out to Louise and she asked me to come into the salon she works in in Repton which was thankfully so much closer to where I live for a consultation, she was so helpful showed me 3 different hair extension brands colour matched my hair as wanted it dying we also chose what colour, she wrote down every price she has every brand with colour without colour even after care I should get and what shampoo to get and dates I could get my hair done with her and even said to me at the end message her with my decision there is no pressure I don't even have to get it done with her if i didn't want to.
As Louise was so more professional and more helpful I trusted her with my hair I made an appointment and I ended up choosing remi catchet which is the best hair she does as I'm quite heavy handed with mine you can be a bit more rough with it. I had keratin bonds which was a different method to what I had in London. When Louise was taking my hair out she talked me through it and to be honest we was both surprised how little hair they had actually put in my hair for the price thy charged me so when I finally had the finished look with Louise I felt amazing I had the thickest and longest hair I wanted from the start.
I have had them in for a few months now and there not due until January to be changed and honestly there still in amazing condition I have had no major problems with them at all and I am so glad that went to Louise I am defiantly going to be sticking with her! Louise does get quite booked up I advance as she balances her career round looking after her son she is now introducing gift bags which has some after care tools inside and other local companies that she would recommend.
